    when i want to post my article link on what’sapp. link preview not showing. inshort, my featured image not showing when i paste my article/post link on whats’app.

    1. Added Facebook/Twitter Sharing Images: Ensure that you have added Facebook/Twitter sharing images through the Rank Math Meta Box. You can check this in your post settings.

    2. Image Dimensions & Format: Double-check the dimensions and format of the uploaded image. WhatsApp supports JPEG, PNG, and GIF formats for link previews. The recommended image size is 1200px X 630px. If your image is too small or too large, it may not display correctly.

    3. Open Graph Settings: Make sure you have set the Open Graph image correctly in Rank Math. You can set a default Open Graph thumbnail at WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math → Titles & Meta → Global → OpenGraph Thumbnail. Additionally, you can set a custom Open Graph/Social Preview image for individual posts.

    4. Facebook App ID: Although not mandatory, adding a Facebook App ID can help with link previews. You can set this in WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Social Meta.

    Hello,

    We have observed that WhatsApp seldom accepts images that are larger than 300 KB. The size of the image you’re using is 1.6 MB. Kindly reduce the image size or utilize a different image that meets the size requirement.

    now, i added new image in 130kb size but problem not solved.please suggest right solution without wasting my time.

    Hello,

    The image is still in 1.6Mb in size as you can see from the screenshot below:

    Please ensure to reduce the size to below 300kb and try using Jpg format as well. After doing so, please clear your website caches and try sharing the URL to Whatsapp again.

    We have confirmed that the image is now withing the Whatsapp image limit and can also see that the image is now showing properly on Whatsapp. Please review the screenshot below:
