  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your posts being automatically marked as "NoIndex Tag." Thank you for raising this concern.

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Check Rank Math Metabox: Open the post in the WordPress Editor. If you are using the Gutenberg Editor, click the Rank Math SEO icon in the top-right corner to open the Rank Math Metabox. For Classic Editor, scroll down to find the Rank Math Metabox.

      Rank Math Settings

If the Rank Math Metabox is not visible, ensure that you have enabled Add SEO Controls from Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta Settings → Pages.

      Add SEO Controls

    2. Advanced Tab: In the Rank Math Metabox, go to the Advanced Tab. If you cannot find it, please enable the advanced mode from Rank Math SEO → Dashboard.

      Rank Math Advanced mode

Check if the Robots Meta is set to No Index. If it is, select the Index checkbox and update the post.

      Advanced tab

    3. Search Engine Visibility Settings: Go to Settings → Reading in your WordPress dashboard. Look for the Search Engine Visibility section and ensure that the checkbox labeled Discourage search engines from indexing this site is unchecked.

      Leave Search engine visibility unchecked

    4. Check Robots.txt: Ensure that your page is not blocked from crawling through your robots.txt file.

After making these changes, check again if the NoIndex tag is still present in the page source. If you continue to experience issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

We hope this helps you resolve the issue!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We’ve checked the page and we can see it is properly set to index:

However, please note that it is a pretty common mistake to open the page source and search for a Noindex tag to see if the page is marked as Noindex or not.

Rank Math offers a No Index and No Follow option in the admin menu bar, which could show up in the page’s source code when logged in.

The actual Noindex tag will be added like this: <meta robots="noindex">

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
