  • Hello, we apologize for the issue you are facing with the differences between your SEO description and what is displayed in Google results.

There are several reasons why Google might not use the meta description you’ve provided:

    1. Relevance and Quality: If the meta description is not relevant or useful, or if it lacks quality (e.g., just a collection of keywords), Google may choose to ignore it.
    2. Duplicate Descriptions: If the same meta description is used across many pages, Google might not use it.
    3. Search Intent: Sometimes, the meta description doesn’t match what users are searching for, but other content on the page does, leading Google to select that instead.
    4. Indexing Issues: If the latest version of your page hasn’t been indexed by Google, it may still show an older version of your meta description.

To address this issue, you can:

    • Ensure that your meta descriptions are unique, relevant, and high-quality.
    • Check if Google has indexed the latest version of your page by using the cache: command followed by your URL in the search bar.
    • Review the content on your page to ensure it aligns with what users are searching for.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please note that nowadays, Google does that very commonly. Even when everything is fine, Google may choose to display a different meta description or no description for your search query result. Google may skip the custom metadata you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent.
