Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the snippet settings in Rank Math SEO. It seems like there might be a glitch causing the description field to not save properly.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
- Clear your browser cache: Sometimes, cached data can cause issues with how forms behave.
- Disable other plugins: Conflicts with other plugins can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior. Try disabling other plugins temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.
- Check for JavaScript errors: Open your browser’s developer console (usually F12) and check for any JavaScript errors that might be affecting the Rank Math plugin.
- Update Rank Math: Ensure that you are using the latest version of the Rank Math plugin, as updates often fix bugs and improve functionality.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, we recommend replying to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

How to Setup Rank Math SEO Plugin Properly
Hello,
This usually happens if you’re using a custom post type (not the default WordPress “Post”) without the editor support where our plugin can’t update the preview correctly.
In this case, you may need to enable the preview and add Editor Support to the custom post type.
Here’s a sample image where you can enable it if you’re using the CPT UI plugin

You may also verify that the correct title/description already applies to the front end by checking them using these tools:
