Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with adding redirects in bulk. Thank you for raising this concern. It seems that when you copy from Brackets, the formatting may not be preserved when pasting into the Source URLs field in Rank Math.
To ensure that each URL is placed on its own line, you can try the following steps:
- Make sure each URL is separated by a newline in your text editor.
- When pasting into the Source URLs field, use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+V for Windows or Cmd+V for Mac) to paste the URLs.
If this still does not work, unfortunately, there may be a limitation with the current functionality. We recommend replying to this ticket so a human agent from the Rank Math Support team can assist you further and address any potential fixes needed.
Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your feedback!

How to Set 410 Status Code in Bulk for WordPress » Rank Math
Hello,
Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
Our developers have actually identified this issue and we have released a beta to fix this. Please refer to our changelog page here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/beta/
Can you please try enabling the beta updates on your site and see if the issue persists? https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#beta-updates
If you don’t prefer the beta version, you can wait for the final release to fix the said issue.
Hope that helps.
Thanks, but it didn’t fix it. Everything still pastes in one line exactly as before. It’s not fixed.
Or maybe there’s a cache issue? I turned on beta.
I refreshed cache. That didn’t help. Sorry to have to report it’s still broken.
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
We’ve tried the process you have shown in the screencast, but it seems to be working fine on our test install:
https://i.rankmath.com/v/fO3Yyv
For troubleshooting, ensure that you’re using the latest version of the Rank Math plugin on your site. Also, try doing the same process using a different internet browser.
If the issue persists, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Thanks! I’m all set. I updated the plugin and tried it in Firefox. Can I turn off the beta version now and turn back on my auto-update on the host side?
Hello,
Yes, you can disable the beta updates as the latest stable version is already available in the plugins section.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hate to report this bad news, but it doesn’t work. It did put them in individual lines, so I thought all was good, but none work at all. They were set to go to a 410. They go to a 404.
Hello,
Please share your login details in the sensitive data section as requested earlier so we can investigate this further on your website.
We look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks.
FYI, I just discovered that I can’t edit in Elementor on the staging site if RankMath plugin is activated. If you find it’s been deactivated, that’s because I’m working on the site. Feel free to turn it back on. When things stop working, I’ll know why, and it will be fine.
You may want to look at why I can’t use it on the staging site though.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
When we checked this on your website, it was working fine.

We even tried using a similar URL structure as the one in your video and it was working fine

Please try this again on your end and share a video if it is still not working on your end.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation
It appears you did not finish reading my reply when I said:
“I DID put them in individual lines, so I thought all was good, but none work at all. They were set to go to a 410. They go to a 404.”
I’ll translate for you in case you don’t understand. What you demonstrated in your video is not a problem anymore. I told you I was able to get that to work when I updated Rankmath and added them using Firefox, not Chrome. So that problem does not exist anymore.
The new problem is the redirects don’t work. They go to a 404. Now you do you understand?

Hello,
When you create 410 redirection, the destination page does not change but the HTTP status changes from 404 to 410. For instance, testing one of the 410 redirects with https://httpstatus.io/, we can see that https://baybuilders.com/zyqlcyv-263912ducml returns a 410 status code:

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hey! Cool tool. I see you can set it to google bot or whatever agent you want. It returns a 410. I guess we’re good to go then! Thank you.
Hello,
Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

Thank you.
