hi there,
I have done all the recommended actions to correct the sitemap blank. But nothing works. Can you help me?
-
Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with your blank sitemap. If you have already tried the recommended actions and the problem persists, here are a few additional steps you can take:
-
Check the Source Code: Ensure that the source code of your sitemap is not empty. You can do this by viewing the source of the sitemap page in your browser.
-
Flush Permalinks: Go to your WordPress admin area, navigate to Settings → Permalinks, and click the “Save Changes” button without making any changes. This can often resolve issues with sitemaps not displaying correctly.

-
Caching Issues: If you are using a caching plugin, ensure that your sitemap is excluded from caching. We have a guide on how to exclude sitemaps from caching.
-
Plugin Conflicts: Use the Health Check plugin to identify if there is a conflict with another plugin or theme.
-
Static File Conflict: Check if there is a static file named
_sitemap_index.xmlon your server that might be conflicting with Rank Math’s sitemap functionality. If so, remove it via FTP.
If you continue to experience issues after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern!

Remove Blank Lines From Sitemaps » Rank MathHello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
This issue is occurring because on your database entries, there are some Unicode characters that are preventing the sitemap from correctly loading.
Please access your WordPress database and check the table
wp_options. You’ll notice entries likeblognamewith Unicode characters instead of the correct characters in there. To be more specific, you may take a look if you find a similar entry like
Hypnothérapeutein theoption_valuecolumn. Here is an example below for your reference:Please try to replace this entry with
Hypnothérapeute, and then the sitemap should start working fine again.Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
