  • Either you can fix it and let me know from where it;s done I’m ok to index the product categories even if they don’t have the products in it.

    Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the noindex setting on your categories. It seems that the Rank Math settings might be configured to set certain categories to noindex.

To resolve this, please follow these steps:

    1. Check Rank Math Metabox: Open the specific category in the WordPress Editor. If you are using the Gutenberg Editor, click the Rank Math SEO icon in the top-right corner to open the Rank Math Metabox. For Classic Editor, scroll down to find the Rank Math Metabox.

    2. Advanced Tab: In the Rank Math Metabox, navigate to the Advanced Tab. If you cannot find it, ensure that you have enabled the advanced mode from Rank Math SEO → Dashboard.

    3. Robots Meta Setting: Check if the Robots Meta is set to No Index. If it is, simply select the Index checkbox and update the category.

    4. Titles & Meta Settings: Additionally, navigate to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and check each tab to ensure that noindex is not set as a default value for your categories.
      Index tags

    5. Search Engine Visibility: Lastly, ensure that the Search Engine Visibility option is unchecked in your WordPress settings. Go to Settings → Reading and make sure the checkbox labeled Discourage search engines from indexing this site is unchecked.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

By default Rank Math sets empty taxonomy pages to noindex. If you want to set them to index, please navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > General, and from there disable the Noindex Empty Category and Tag Archives option:
