    Dear Team,

I have been using this plugin for over 3 years now, and I want to thank you for providing such a wonderful, full-featured SEO solution.

Currently, I’m encountering an issue where the “Focus Keyword not found in the URL” error appears on a few of my pages. The keyword and the URL are identical for these pages, yet the error persists. I have already checked for any unknown characters in the title and ensured that /wp-json* is whitelisted.

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

    Thank you for your support.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the "Focus Keyword not found in the URL" error. Thank you for your kind words about our plugin; we truly appreciate it.

This error can sometimes occur due to various reasons, even if the keyword and URL appear identical. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check for Case Sensitivity: Ensure that the focus keyword matches the URL exactly, including case sensitivity. URLs are case-sensitive, so any difference in capitalization can trigger this error.

    2. Remove Special Characters: Double-check that there are no hidden special characters or spaces in the URL that might not be visible at first glance.

    3. Permalink Settings: Go to your WordPress dashboard and check your permalink settings under Settings > Permalinks. Sometimes, re-saving your permalink settings can resolve issues related to URLs.

    4. Plugin Conflicts: There may be conflicts with other plugins that could affect how Rank Math analyzes your URLs. You can refer to our knowledgebase article on plugin conflicts for guidance on troubleshooting.

If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to resolving this issue for you!
