    We apologize for the issue you are facing with your products’ sitemap and the "Missing XML tag" error in Google Webmaster Tools.

    The "Missing XML tag" error is most likely due to one of the following reasons:

    1. No Content on Your Website: Ensure that you have content on your website. If there are no posts or pages, the sitemap will not have any links to display.
    2. Blocked Posts/Pages: Check if you have blocked all posts/pages from appearing in your sitemap. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings and ensuring that useful posts/pages/taxonomies are not blocked.

    If you have content and are still experiencing this issue, please consider flushing your permalinks. You can do this by going to Settings → Permalinks in your WordPress admin area and clicking the “Save Changes” button, even if you didn’t make any changes.

    Kindly share the URL of the product sitemap with us.

    Meanwhile, please follow the steps below for initial troubleshooting:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    If the issue persists then try disabling the transient cache for the sitemap. This will make sure that your XML sitemap always reflects the latest changes on your site. To do this, you need to add a small piece of code to your site’s functions.php file or use a plugin like Code Snippets.
    The code you need to add is this:

     * Filter if XML sitemap transient cache is enabled.
     *
     * @param boolean $unsigned Enable cache or not, defaults to true
     */
    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');
