For Block Editor:

- Under the Post panel tab, scroll down to find the Permalink section.
- Here you can change the URL Slug.

For Classic Editor:
- Edit the post you want to change the slug for.
- You will find the permalink just below your post. Click on Edit and then change the end of the URL.

If you are still unable to change the slug after following these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

how rank math does not a feature to change the slug of your posts or pages so what is in the screen shoot

i check the link and i found that it has a redirection which i did not do the only redirection was frm rank math
how this happened

Hello,
We apologize for the confusion.
The WordFence firewall on your site is currently blocking the updateMeta route that Rank Math uses to update the metadata settings:

You can do this by looking at your firewall logs and seeing if there are any blocked requests to these files:
/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateSchemas /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateRedirection /wp-json/rankmath/v1/getFeaturedImageId /wp-json/rankmath/v1/getHeadIf you see any blocked requests, you need to whitelist Rank Math and its files in your firewall or security plugin settings.
You may try following this link to learn how you can whitelist Rank Math REST Routes in WordFence Firewall: https://rankmath.com/kb/whitelist-rank-math-in-wordfence/
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
Hello,
When you activate the automation Redirection option from WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Redirections → Auto Post Redirect, Rank Math creates an automatic redirection when you change the slug of a post. Please refer to this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-redirect-posts-after-changing-urls/
Is the Auto Post Redirect option enabled on your site?
We look forward to helping you.
Thanks.
i did the step you told me about
but i sent you a screen shoot related to a redirection can you explain why i had a redirection
yes it is enabled but it is a page not a post
Hello,
You see that redirection because that link https://engaged-couple.com/destination-wedding/ doesn’t link to any page yet, so it should return a 404 page, but it seems you have configured the fallback behavior to redirect to the homepage.
You can find this setting from Rank Math SEO > General Settings > Redirections > Fallback Behavior. This setting makes Rank Math redirect any link that should lead to an unavailable page(404) to the configured setting:

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Excuse my Ignorance so what action i have to take and how to link this page to the url i want which is https://engaged-couple.com/destination-wedding
Hello,
Please head over to Rank Math SEO > General Settings > Redirections > Fallback Behavior and make sure the default 404 page is selected.
However, doing this action doesn’t do much because you will only be taken to a 404 content.
You need to make sure that the
/destination-weddingpage does actually exist. For us to give further advice, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
