FAQ Block and its Schema

    Hi,

I noticed that the Rank Math FAQ block is still not compatible with the popular Avada theme. Currently, the FAQ block only supports Gutenberg blocks, which means that in Avada, we have to use the old method of copying and pasting a shortcode from Rank Math Meta into the editor.

I believe there should be support for adding an FAQ block directly from the default editor, or it should be available in the Fusion Builder.

Additionally, if possible, the Avada accordion element should be made compatible with FAQ schema.

    Thank you.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Rank Math FAQ block and its compatibility with the Avada theme. Thank you for raising this concern.

Currently, the Rank Math FAQ block is designed to work seamlessly with Gutenberg blocks, and we understand that this may not be ideal for users of the Avada theme who rely on the Fusion Builder. Your feedback regarding the need for direct support in the default editor or Fusion Builder is valuable, and we appreciate your suggestion.

As for the compatibility of the Avada accordion element with FAQ schema, we recommend reaching out to the Avada theme support team for further assistance on this matter, as it may require specific adjustments on their end.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Rank Math support with your feedback.

The Rank Math FAQ block is currently designed for use with the WordPress block editor. However, it’s important to note that you can still add the FAQ Schema to your site regardless of the specific editor or page builder you’re using.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math.

Do you have any example of this how it is still add faq schema into the post if we add a question and answer to the blog post?

I think there is only the way to add a shortcode from rankmath meta which is annoying.

    Hello,

The FAQ Block and the FAQ Schema are different. The FAQ block shows an FAQ element on the front end of your website, while the FAQ Schema is structured data that appears in your website’s source code and can only be read by crawlers, such as Google.

The FAQ block automatically includes the FAQ Schema, but it is only fully available in the block editor. The FAQ Schema can be added to any page, but if you want it to be visible to users without using the FAQ block, you will need to use the schema shortcode.

At this time, we do not have plans to expand the FAQ block to other editors or page builders.

We hope this clears up any confusion. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns.
