Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with multiple meta description tags on your blog posts. It seems like there might be a conflict between the individual post SEO settings and the global SEO post settings in Rank Math.
To address this problem, please follow these steps:
-
Check the SEO settings for the individual blog post:
- Ensure that the meta description is correctly set to %seo_description% in the SEO settings for each post.
- Verify that there are no conflicting manual descriptions added in the individual post settings.
-
Review the global SEO post settings:
- Confirm that the global post SEO settings are configured to pull the description as %seo_description% and not from the first line of the blog post content.
If after checking these settings you still encounter the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We are here to help you resolve this issue.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.
This is a conflict with another plugin or theme. The extra meta description comes from one of your plugins or active theme, not Rank Math.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), to determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
