    Hello,

I would like your help with a Schema related issue i have on my site: myhomeswaps.com
Using the Rich text google tool i get “Missing field name” ” either offers, reviews or aggregateRating should be specified” error.
    Context:
    – the general schema type of the website is set to Article
    – i deleted the Schema type for the homepage, however i see the error still persists.
    – this error appears for the “Explore Homes” part of the homepage. This is where the properties appear. Not all have ratings yet, and the list is constantly being refreshed with new ones without ratings/reviews.
    – in Titles & Meta i do not see “Product”, for all the other ones i turned on “Remove Snipped Data”

Since that specific part of the website is constantly refreshed, i would like the Schema to not show it as a Product and thus not have there errors. I also added a screenshot showcasing the error.
What would you suggest i do ?

    Kind regards,
    Daniel

  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the Schema-related issue on your website, myhomeswaps.com. I understand that you are encountering the "Missing field" error in the Rich Results Google tool, specifically related to the "Explore Homes" section of your homepage.

Based on the information you provided, it seems that the error is related to the missing fields "offers," "reviews," or "aggregateRating" for the properties listed in the "Explore Homes" section. Since this section is constantly refreshed and not all properties have ratings or reviews, it’s causing the Schema-related error.

To address this issue and prevent the Schema from showing these properties as products, you can follow these steps:

    1. Update Schema Type:

      • Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard and access Rank Math SEO.
      • Go to Titles & Meta and ensure that the Schema Type is set to Article for the homepage.
      • Since the properties in the "Explore Homes" section are not products, setting the Schema Type to Article should help resolve the error.
    2. Exclude Properties Without Ratings/Reviews:

      • If possible, consider excluding properties without ratings or reviews from being included in the Schema markup to avoid triggering the error.
    3. Review Schema Markup:

      • Check the Schema markup for the "Explore Homes" section to ensure that it aligns with the updated Schema Type and does not include product-related fields.

If after following these steps you still encounter issues or need further assistance, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you promptly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

The Product schema on your homepage is not added by Rank Math.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), the schema must be added by one of your plugins or active theme.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
