How do I check if I have cache problems? For 2 years I think I have problems with the cache and that Search console does not delete the old version of the URLs. Result? Old versions, many duplicates, noindex and so on.

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the cache issues you’ve been experiencing. To check if you have cache problems that might be affecting your URLs in Google Search Console, you can follow these steps:

    1. Flush the Cache: If you suspect your sitemap is outdated, you can flush the sitemap cache by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings. Increase the value of the Links Per Sitemap by one and save your settings. Then, go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes to ensure the current settings are applied.

    2. Exclude the Sitemap From Caching: Ensure your sitemap is not being cached. You can refer to this knowledgebase article for detailed instructions on how to exclude sitemaps from caching.

After completing these steps, you should submit your sitemap URL to Google Search Console again. If the issue persists, you may need to continue troubleshooting by following the steps outlined in our guide.

If you need further assistance or have any other questions, feel free to ask. Thank you for reaching out about this issue.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting support.

Google will always cache versions of the pages it has indexed so it can serve them to the users but that is not a bad thing, it makes sure that the pages can be presented to people uninterrupted and it updates that cache each time it crawls a page.

If you are talking about caching issues on the actual live website, that’s outside the scope of Rank Math support since we are not a performance plugin and we cannot assist with caching issues on the website.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,

    Thank you.
