My websites become too slow

Please check the PHP values of your site by heading over to your WordPress dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Server. If they are set too low on your site, please ask your hosting provider to upgrade the values according to the following and see if that works for you:

PHP Memory Limit: 1024M
Max input time: 150
PHP time limit: 120
PHP max input variables: 1000

If the issue persists, you can install the plugin Query Monitor on your website and look for queries related to Rank Math. This should help us determine what’s causing the issue.

Our plugin, like any other SEO plugin, needs to perform some actions on the website to add its features to the posts and pages so some queries are necessary.

However, your website is running a bit slowly because you have over 300k posts and our plugin has queries to fetch those from the database but if you look at the time on the queries, even though they are slower than usual they still take 1/5 of a second to run so that’s not slow performance given the amount of data that is being processed.

For these sorts of websites with that amount of data, you need to make the decision of either archiving old content that is no longer relevant or improving the server performance significantly and not only the memory but also the CPU which in this case is much more important than the memory.
