Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with the Service Schema Type validation on Schema.org. It seems that the schema type set as ‘Service’ in your WordPress is not displaying correctly when validated on Schema.org.
To ensure that the Service Schema Type is correctly implemented and displayed on Schema.org, please follow these steps:
-
Make sure that the Rank Math Schema Module is enabled on your website. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math > Dashboard > Modules in your WordPress admin area.
-
Edit the page you want to add the Service Schema Type to by clicking on the Edit button.
-
Look for the Rank Math icon in the Gutenberg sidebar on the right-hand side of your screen and click on it to expand the Rank Math panel.
-
Navigate to the Schema Settings by clicking on the Schema tab and then click on the Schema Generator button.
-
Open Rank Math’s Schema Builder, select the Service Schema from the list, and fill in the required information such as Headline, Description, Shortcode, Service Type, and Offers.
-
Click on Save for this Post once you’re done making any changes to the Service Schema for this page. Then, update the page or click Publish if it’s a newly created page.
By following these steps, you should be able to correctly implement the Service Schema Type using Rank Math on your WordPress website. If you encounter any further issues or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team here.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your understanding.
Kind regards

Hello,
Please note that the Service Schema is not eligible for Rich Results, which is why it is not shown in the Rich Results test:
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7445569?hl=en#zippy=%2Csupported-types
In this case, you will have to use the Schema Validator to validate it:
https://validator.schema.org/
Also, you may need to populate the Service Schema on your pages as there are properties that need to be filled unlike the Article schema:

Looking forward to helping you.
Hi Reinelle,
Thanks for your feedback. I’ve got 2 questions:
1. where should I find the shortcode / shortcode ID? and where should I add the shortcode into my content?
2. our service is business professional service and it does not have a fixed price, in this case can I leave the offer price and currency blank? or these are compulsory fields?
Hello,
1. The shortcode should appear when you open the Service schema automatically added to your pages:

The shortcode allows you to render the schema information to the frontend. You can insert it anywhere in your content, it’s up to you.
2. Yes, you can leave the price empty. That shouldn’t cause any snippet issue.
Hope that helps.
