    Dear Mr. Ike

My problem has been going on for 3 months. I have tried everything and I know that no problem appears when checking the sitemap link, but Google Console does not accept adding it.

    Hello,

We’ve noticed this issue with some other users, and it seems that the problem lies with Google rather than Rank Math. It appears that Google is labeling all sitemaps as “Couldn’t fetch” until they are actually read. Once the sitemap is read, the ‘Last read’ column will display the date it was last read. It usually takes a few hours or days for Google to read the submitted sitemap, so we kindly ask for your patience as you wait for the ‘Last read’ column to update.

You can also check that Google can read your sitemap by going to the Google URL Inspection Tool and entering your full sitemap URL. Then click “Live Test” (https://i.rankmath.com/i/qi72Gd) and switch to the Source tab (https://i.rankmath.com/i/VHkaDV). You should see the XML content of your sitemap there. If you do, then it means Google can fetch your content, and the error on your search console is just a temporary glitch on Google’s end.

    We hope this helps.

    Thanks.
