Hello,
I apologize for the issues you are facing with your custom posts and sitemap settings. To include images from custom posts in the sitemap, you need to ensure that you have added the names of the custom fields that contain the image URLs correctly.
Based on the screenshots you provided, it seems like you have configured the settings correctly. However, if the images are still not showing up in the sitemap, you may want to double-check the custom field names and ensure they match exactly.
Regarding excluding an archive from the sitemap, if the custom post type is not hierarchical, you might not be able to exclude it directly. In such cases, you can try enabling the "Include Empty Terms" option in your category/tag/custom taxonomy archive settings under Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings to include these pages in your sitemap.
If you continue to experience difficulties with these settings, please reply here, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for reaching out.

Hello,
To help you investigate this issue, we might need to take a closer look at your website and settings. Please follow these steps:
- Edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the Sensitive Data section. This is a secure section that only our support staff can access.

- Make sure you take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
- If you prefer, you can use this plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead: https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
- You can also use this plugin to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any): https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We appreciate your cooperation and patience. Thank you for choosing Rank Math.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I saw that someone accessed the site with a username and password, but I don’t see any change. In the meantime, I solved the problem with that archive from the sitemap.
There is only the problem with the images from custom posts that do not appear in the sitemap.

Hello,
We shared the issue with our developers and they are investigating it. For further troubleshooting, we might need the FTP logins of your website.
If you’re not sure about your site’s FTP logins, you can get in touch with your hosting provider and then share the logins in the sensitive data section.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello,
Since that field only expects an image URL and not content with images, we have added this filter via code snippets and add the custom fields content to the content that RankMath searches for the images.
We apologize for the inconveniences that might have been caused by this issue.
Thank you.
