Change Yoast SEO with Rank Math on a site with 190K posts

#829972
  • Hey

I just finished the redesign of a site, which contains about 190K posts. And a huge ammount of images of cource.
The site, is using Yoast SEO, but I am Rank Math’s fun, and I am thinking to make the change.

I am interesting to know, if this possible, what’s the preparation to perform the changes, and if RankMath can handle correctly this huge ammount of data.

    Thanks a lot

  • Hello,

Thank you for considering switching from Yoast SEO to Rank Math for your site with 190K posts. Migrating from Yoast SEO to Rank Math is indeed possible and can be done smoothly.

To prepare for the change, you can follow the steps outlined in Rank Math’s migration guide. You can deactivate the Yoast SEO plugin and import the data from Yoast SEO to Rank Math using the built-in feature during the Rank Math setup wizard. This process includes importing SEO settings like titles, descriptions, and key phrases.

Rank Math is designed to handle a large amount of data efficiently, so your 190K posts should not be an issue during the migration process. Once the migration is complete, your search engine rankings should remain unaffected.

If you encounter any issues during the migration process or have any specific questions, feel free to reach out to our support team directly. They are available 24/7 to assist you with any queries you may have.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math, and best of luck with the migration process!

    Warm regards,
    Rank Math Support Team
