Our site is running on WordPress-NAMI and it connects to Microsoft SQL Server. We tried using a different SEO plugin but experienced many errors related to tables or columns not being found. Is RankMath compatible?

Hello. Can I get an agent response to this, please? Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that this issue might have caused.
If you have setup your WordPress production environment correctly, Rank Math should work correctly.
1. Please ensure you are using the latest version of the plugin: https://rankmath.com/changelog
2. Re-create tables by clicking WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click the
Re-create database Tablebutton.
If the issue persists you can share the error log with us so we can debug the issue.
Having an error log will help us determine what is causing the error on your website.
You can follow this guide to enable debugging in WordPress
https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ or you can get in touch with your web host, and they will help you locate the log file. You can trigger the error again so the log will be updated. You can use this tool https://pastebin.com to share the log.
Let us know how this goes. Also, let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
Thank you.
We don’t have a subscription yet. Do you have support for WordPress sites that connect to Microsoft SQL Server? Our site uses a third-party WordPress-NAMI.
Does RankMath create their own database tables?
Hello,
Yes, Rank Math creates its database tables, and going by the readme file of the Project – Nami, it is only going to be successful on the Microsoft SQL server if WordPress – Nami can translate the functions for table creation.
When you installed Rank Math on your setup did it work correctly?
You can initially try our FREE plugin and see if it works in your production environment.
Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Does it need to be installed in our production environment to see if it works correctly? Can it be installed in our local dev environment? Thank you.
Hello,
Yes, you can run and use Rank Math in a local dev environment.
Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thanks.
Is there any documentation for guidance on how to adapt Rank Math to work with MSSQL databases? Is there a data schema document? I know there are differences in data types.
Do you have any customers who successfully use RankMath with Project-NAMI? And if so, do you offer any document support for any database schema differences between MYSQL and MSSQL?
Hello,
Unfortunately, we don’t have any document or guide for Rank Math and project-NAMI setup and this is the first time we have encountered this type of inquiry.
If the base WordPress installation is able to create a database table in a Microsoft SQL server, Rank Math should be able to do it as well. However, we can’t guarantee that Rank Math will run completely on that kind of setup.
We recommend you install Rank Math Free version first so you get to test it out.
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
