First off, this plugin is AMAZING. Thank you!
I’ve taken a look at the documentation and I am unclear how to best use the plugin for long-tail keywords.
Here’s an example of what I mean: Say I wrote an 4,000 word blog post about “making a mattress using sticks and leaves” (lol), my content, slug, and title, would mix up this phrase to write well, flow, and rank for related words (i.e. “sticks and leaves based mattress” “making a mattress using organic materials like sticks and leaves” “DIY stick and leaf mattress” etc).
If after all that, I enter “making a mattress using sticks and leaves” into Rank Math as my keyword phrase, I might get a score around 30, but if I enter “mattress” I might get 100. The problem is, of course, I have no chance of ranking for “mattress” and people looking for my article on building a mattress from yard waste (again, just an example lol) would not be looking for that information via a generic keyword like that.
I’ve tried entering multiple keyword phrases but that doesn’t seem to help boost scores for the keywords groups I need to optimize for. Any advice?
