It says it doesn’t have an expiration header, even though I use it. Or I set my site name to not appear after the post, but it does. I think the plug-in got a little weird after I ran the rankmes transient removal and data table regeneration on May 30. Why is this? Help

Hello,
I’m sorry to hear about the issues you are facing with Rank Math on your website. It seems like you are experiencing problems with the expiration header and the site name not appearing as expected after running certain Rank Math operations.
Regarding the expiration header, if Rank Math is indicating that your images do not have an expiration header, you may need to manually add them to your image assets. Here is a helpful guide that explains how to add expire headers to your image assets: Adding Expires Headers in WordPress.
As for the issue with the site name not appearing correctly after running certain Rank Math operations, it’s essential to ensure that all settings are configured correctly within the plugin. If you are still facing issues, it might be related to the specific actions you took on May 30, such as running the RankMes transient removal and data table regeneration.
To address these issues effectively, I recommend reaching out to the Rank Math support team by opening a support ticket at Rank Math Support. They will be able to provide you with more specific guidance based on your website’s configuration and help resolve these issues promptly.
If you need further assistance or have any other questions, please feel free to let us know. We’re here to help!
Thank you for reaching out and raising your concerns.

This Plugin Does Not Work with Your Version of PHP » Rank MathHello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Our tests look for the first image on the page and see if it has the expires headers in the HTTP response which the first image on your page doesn’t have.
We’ve checked your site and found that your server is using a newer implementation called cache-control but our system cannot detect those and as such it fails this test. That won’t have any negative impact on SEO, and you can simply ignore the error on the SEO Analysis report.
In simple words, you have the Expires Headers for your images, but with a different implementation which Rank Math can’t detect yet and you can avoid the error on your SEO analysis.
Regarding the meta title, we’ve checked some of your pages and we can see Rank Math is generating the meta title properly. You can also check by using https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/ and https://www.heymeta.com/
However, please note that nowadays, Google does that very commonly. Even when everything is fine, Google may choose to display a different meta title for your search query result. Google may skip the custom metadata you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent.

Actually it doesn’t bother me that much. But I’ve noticed a number of issues with my rankmes. This seems to have an underlying error. For example, I say I won’t create a date archive, but it’s indexed. It was indexed two by two, creating duplicate pages with the same name. And I put an option to automatically add the image alt attribute, but it doesn’t add it. I’m using the image expiration header, but it says I’m not using it. And only page 2 of the category is indexed. I’m not asking you to fix all of this. I’m just saying I want to know what’s causing so many errors.
This is because there seems to be a fundamental error.I’ve already run it a few times. Is there no manual when it goes wrong using the transient removal feature?
Hello,
1. Please ensure you are using the latest version of the plugin which is version 1.0.221: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/.
2. Expiration Header: As previously mentioned, our tests might not detect your server’s cache-control headers. This doesn’t impact your SEO negatively.
3. Meta Title: Google’s algorithms often override set meta titles based on search intent. This is common across many sites.
4. Date Archives & Duplicate Pages: Ensure your settings in Rank Math are correctly configured to prevent date archives from being indexed and to avoid duplicate content.
5. Image Alt Attributes: Make sure that the “Auto Add Alt Attribute” feature is enabled and properly configured. Please note that the Add missing ALT attributes and Add missing TITLE attributes options in Rank Math are not added to your images in the media gallery as the feature works only on the fly (applied on the front end when your page loads on the browser).
Also, images added by your WordPress theme or page builder to various sections like your sliders, thumbnails, icons, etc. will not be affected as they only apply to images added directly to your content.
Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
