    Rank Math free

    Hi,

Have response 403 on all my pages and posts. Tried to follow https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-403-forbidden-error-indexnow/ and bought the wp rocket to clear cache. All good. But, still the problem. When I hit “check key” I get this message: “Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

I am not familiar with FTP client etc. Can someone help me with this??

My site is part of a new project (launched recently) and I desperately need SEO enhanced, so it can be found….

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing issues with Instant Indexing on your website. It seems like you are encountering a 403 Forbidden error and having trouble with the API key location.

To resolve this issue, we can manually add the text file containing the API key to the root folder of your website. Here’s how you can do it:

    Create a Text File

    1. Create a text file and name it [your_api_key].txt. Ensure that the file name includes your API key.
      API key for IndexNow

    Upload the Text File

    1. Upload the text file to the root of your website using an FTP client like FileZilla or cPanel’s File Manager.

If you are not familiar with using an FTP client, you can follow the steps outlined in our guide here to connect to your server and upload the text file.

If you encounter any difficulties during this process, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist you further.

Thank you for reaching out, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.

    Warm regards.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
