Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Are you using Divi theme on that website? Please check if you are using a blurp feature with an image Background.
That is what might be causing this issue or incorrect image locations appearing in the sitemap.
Looking forward to helping you.

Hi
I checked with Divi support team and this is their reply:
I checked the reported bug to our dev team regarding this, and I found that it is intended behavior includes Divi Builder module’s images on Rank Math SEO sitemap.
Since Divi modules are shortcode based and the image added is saved as one of the shortcode attributes, there is no way for Rank Math to detect the images for being included in the sitemap.
Not all modules have image and not all modules with image should be added. For example:
Accordion module doesn’t have image field at all.
Audio module has image but the image only used as Audio cover and generated as overlay, so we don’t need to include it because the image won’t have alt and/or title text.
Person module has image and the image will be generated as img HTML tag. So, the image will have alt and title text.
In result only images from those modules will be added on the sitemap :
Image
Fullwidth Image
Blurb
Person
Menu
Fullwidth Menu
Slide Item (in Slider and Fullwidth Slider)
Fullwidth Header
Gallery
Hello,
Did you get a solution from them?
Did they mention why the image from the blurp was not correctly being added to the sitemap?
They can’t figure out either.. Can u check and see on how to fixed this?
Hello,
Since the compatibility for adding the images to the sitemap was added by the Divi team, they will be in a better position to assist in this regard.
Hi
They have fixed the image background URL..but it is still showing error msg in sitemap after resubmitting.
Can you check.
Thanks
Hello,
I checked your sitemap from my end and it seems to appear fine now. I also validated the
sitemap URL with this tool: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html and there are no issues detected.
Please remove your sitemaps from your GSC and resubmit only the main sitemap then give it sometime for Google to crawl. Let us know how this goes.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
