    Hello Support team,

My recently published articles do not appear in the ‘All’ section of Google search.

But all of them are shown in the ‘News’ section.

It may seem good to appear on Google News, but all those articles should also appear in the ‘All’ section where people generally click most.

I have noticed this a couple of days ago. Can you please check the SEO-related issues?

I have selected individual blog and article types to blog posts in settings.

Can’t understand what’s causing this? Please help.

  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue with your site articles not appearing in the ‘All’ section of Google search results but showing up in the ‘News’ section.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like there might be an indexing issue affecting the visibility of your articles in the general search results. Google may take some time to index new content, and various factors can influence this process.

To address this issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Check Indexing Status: Verify if your articles are indexed by Google. You can do this by entering the URL of the specific article in Google search to see if it appears in the search results.

    2. Ensure Noindex Attribute: Make sure that your posts, pages, and website do not have the noindex attribute present. This attribute can prevent search engines from indexing your content.

    3. Review Robots.txt Rules: Check your website’s robots.txt file to ensure that it allows search engines to index your website. Incorrect directives in the robots.txt file can block Googlebot from accessing your site.

    4. Request Manual Indexing: If you suspect indexing issues, you can request manual indexing of your articles through Google Search Console.

If after following these steps, your articles still do not appear in the ‘All’ section of Google search results, please provide more details or screenshots if possible so we can further assist you.

If you need additional help or have any other questions, feel free to reply here, and our support team will assist you promptly.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

    Hello,

All the URLs you shared are showing in the Google SERP so there’s no issue with the indexing. See screenshot below:

In this case, the articles may not show for certain keywords.

Please note that ranking on Google for desired keywords or search phrases depends on so much more than just your on-page optimization. You could have the perfect article and still struggle to break the top 10 in SERPs. Here are some of the factors Google considers when ranking you:

    1. Your website’s authority
    2. Your content’s quality and how better it is than the other article currently ranking.
    3. How competitive the keyword is.
    4. How many backlinks you have and if they are better than what the other guys ranking for that keyword have.
    5. Your website’s crawlability.
    6. Frequency of new content and content updates.
    7. So much more that there is a dedicated blog post on it by Brian Dean 🙂 https://backlinko.com/google-ranking-factors

    Looking forward to helping you.

But you’re specifically using site name or url in search result.

In standard way of searching, it doesn’t appear in all section.

I can understand that there may be multiple reasons for ranking. But my articles are appearing on news section only.

I didn’t find any proper answer on the web. That’s why asking.

    Hello,

Your posts are not ranking for the keyword you are using, and that’s why they are not visible in the All section. They must be ranking higher for the same keyword compared to other news articles, and that’s why you can find them in the News tab. If there is an issue with the indexing, the posts will not appear even with the site operator.

The issue is related to the ranking of the posts, and you must optimize the overall SEO and content of the site to improve it.

Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
