  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues while trying to save your settings in Rank Math. If you are encountering a situation where clicking the "Save Changes" button results in a blank page without saving your settings, there could be a few reasons behind this issue.

Here are some common reasons why Rank Math settings may not be getting saved:

    1. ModSecurity Feature: Sometimes, the ModSecurity feature on your website can block requests from Rank Math, causing issues with saving settings. In such cases, you may need to contact your hosting provider to temporarily disable ModSecurity so you can save your settings successfully.

    2. JavaScript Conflict: If any plugin or theme installed on your website causes a JavaScript conflict, it might prevent Rank Math from saving metadata. You can check for JavaScript errors in the browser console and reach out to the respective support forum for assistance.

    3. Firewall Blocking Access: If you are using a firewall, it might be blocking Rank Math from saving data. You can whitelist Rank Math and its files in your firewall settings to allow it to save settings properly.

If none of these solutions help resolve the issue, please feel free to open a support ticket in our Rank Math support forum with the error details. Our support experts will investigate further and assist you in resolving the problem.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.

Is there anything else I can assist you with?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that this issue might have caused.

Please check the PHP values of your site by going to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Server. These values affect the performance of your site and they should be set according to the following recommendations:

    PHP Memory Limit: 512M
    Max input time: 150
    PHP time limit: 120
    PHP max input variables: 1000

If any of these values are lower than the recommended ones, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase them for you.

Also, ensure the PHP version of your site is above version 8 and the WordPress version is either 6.3 or later.

Let us know how this goes. Also, let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Thank you.
