Urgent Refund Request for Unauthorized Charge

    Dear RankMath Support Team,

    I am writing to express my concern and frustration regarding an unauthorized charge to my account.

    Approximately a year ago, I purchased credits amounting to $22.99 to try out your AI SEO tool. Unfortunately, I was unable to use these credits as the AI tool failed to connect to my WooCommerce store. I contacted your support department regarding this issue, but it was never resolved satisfactorily.

    To my surprise, I recently discovered a charge of $86.97 on my account. I did not authorize this charge, nor did I sign up for any subscription or service that would warrant this billing.

    Given these circumstances, I kindly request the following actions be taken:

    An immediate refund of the $86.97 that was charged to my account.
    A review and cancellation of any subscriptions or services linked to my account that I did not sign up for.
    Confirmation that no further unauthorized charges will be made to my account.
    Please address this matter urgently and confirm receipt of this complaint.

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    The renewal is for your Content AI credits that were purchased on May 25, 2023.

    We sent out an email reminder 7 days prior to the charge. Did you not receive that?

    If you received it, then sorry to disappoint you, but our refund policy does not extend to renewal subscriptions. Before the subscription happens, our system sends out an email 7 days before the actual charge so the users can cancel their subscription(s).

    I must clarify that I did not receive any email notification regarding the charge prior to its occurrence. Additionally, I never signed up for any subscription service. My previous purchase was solely for credits, which I have not been able to use due to the initial connection issues with my WooCommerce store. This purchase did not indicate that the credits were part of a subscription-based product.

    Given these circumstances, I believe that this charge is unauthorized. I kindly request an immediate refund of the $86.97 charged to my account.

    I would also like to ensure that any form of automatic subscription associated with my account is cancelled to prevent any future unauthorized charges.

    Please confirm receipt of this email and the actions taken.

    I also tried to attatch the invoice regarding the purchase of credits, which clearly does not indicate that this is a subscription-based purchase.

    Since you did not receive the email reminder, we have initiated a refund on your requested transaction. You should see a credit for the refund appear on your credit card statement anytime between now and the next 5 to 7 business days.

    If you used a debit card for the payment, the refund might take up to 30 days to appear on your statement. Please note that refunds for international transactions can take up to 10 days to appear for credit cards or up to 60 days for debit cards.

    For PayPal, it’s always almost instant.

    As of the month date, you won’t be able to access those premium features we refunded.

    Yes, your subscription has been refunded, cancelled, and you won’t be billed for any renewal from Rank Math.
