    Hi, i installed rank math into wordpress abut it will not connect to google services. I have waited 3 hours and it still doenst find my site in the search console. I have tried on firefox browser too and it does not work. I have cleared cookies and chache and it still doesnt work?

    I cant send you an attachment or screenshot here but its the page after it says connect to google services. can you help with this please?

    Regarding the issue, please verify using the URL prefix and ensure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

    The URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console as we submit it automatically for you. In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module such as the IndexStatus.

    Regarding the Analytics drop-down, could you please confirm if you have already created a GA4 property for your website?

    If not yet, please visit this page (https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/) and sign up for a Google Analytics account and property, then reconnect your Google Account so the new Analytics account will reflect in that section.

    Meanwhile, please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you:

    1. Make sure that you have verified your website on Google Search Console, if not, follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/

    2. Please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

    3. Please remove RankMath’s app from your Google apps permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

    4. Once done, reconnect the Google account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings again.

    Kindly check all necessary checkboxes to allow Rank Math to access some of the Google Services.

    Hi, i have submitted to search console and it seems to be working, but i cant get the analytics part to work?

    I have created an analytics account with google but it still wont connect in my wordpress dashboard. I have attatched a picture here:

    this is a really frustrating process, surely this should be easier than this?!

    Hello,

    If you already have a Google Analytics account, please try to follow the steps from this guide to reconnect your Google account and see if that works for you: https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics-issues/#expired-google-oauth-token

    Also, please make sure your Google Analytics account is on the same email address.

    If the issue persists, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Ok great, thanks, i have finally managed to set it up and now the search console and analytics are showing as green!

    What else do i need to do now to set up rank math and get it working properly for me?

    What are my next steps or is everything done now?

    Thanks, do i have to manually update my sitemaps to google search console?

    Or does rank math do this automatically for me?

    Because im not seeing my sitemaps in my google search console when i just checked them

    Rank Math will automatically submit your sitemap to Google if you’re using the Rank Math Analytics feature. If not, you can always submit the sitemap to Google manually.
