Canonical not updating when changing page

Hi!
I’m experiencing the following issue:
When I change page on my WordPress website (let’s say https://pixlex/page-1 to https://pixlex/page-2 ) I see on the dev tool that the canonical URL for Page 2 is still the one of Page 1.
I read the line <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://pixlex.it/Page-1″>. Also other meta data remain the ones of Page 1 (such as meta description and meta title).

Then, if I refresh the page the meta data and canonical URL on Page 2 are updated correctly.

You can check the problem here https://pixlex.it/servizi/startup-venture-capital/ if you change page and check the dev tool for canonical URL.

Can you help with that issue?

add_filter( 'rank_math/frontend/canonical', function( $canonical ) {
    global $wp;
    $current_slug = home_url( $wp->request );
    $canonical = $current_slug;
    return $canonical;
});
```
