Thank you. I can see that’s something different altogether, a 301 redirection to a custom page, which is not a very good idea for all 404 errors.
I’m looking to override my theme’s 404 page (without any redirections) so I can design it as I wish. I can do this with a plugin but then the 404s don’t get logged by Rank Math.
So I guess this means there’s no solution for this particular need.

I am sorry but apart from the option I previously said, we don’t have any other for a custom 404 page. Anyway, I will share it with the dev team so we might add a similar feature in some upcoming version (although it should be more a theme feature).
