Yoast Migration

I have an eCommerce site built on WooCommerce, http://www.LaLaDaisy.com. I have an issue in which, when I edit meta titles and meta descriptions using Yoast, the edits will revert back after a time period that can range from around 1 hour to over 24 hours. This only affects Product Pages and it only affects Product Pages in which we are editing an existing product with existing meta tags. We have tried conflict testing and Yoast support and can’t resolve the issue. My SEO (Bruce Clay) recommended that I install your plugin and edit one or two product meta titles and descriptions. If these do not revert back, then we would make the switch from Yoast to Rank Math. Of course, your plugin will require configuration, and I see there is also a Yoast migration feature. Is it possible for me to install your plugin, and not migrate from Yoast yet, and only use it to test editing the meta tags for a couple of SKUs? Then if the test is successful, we will do the complete configuration and migration from Yoast.

    Please let me know.

    Thank you.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

If it’s only for testing, you can install Rank math while you still have Yoast.

However to ensure the meta data added to your page is from Rank math, you can disable other plugins and enable only Rank math. You can follow this guideline to avoid conflicts: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Looking forward to helping you.
