    Dear Team,

I loved Rank Math so far. Infact have written a nice review also on plugin page πŸ™‚

But now I see that the search console is presenting with lots of issues after I migrated from Yoast.

    My website is: https://ghealth121.com/

The following issues are effecting some 686 pages on the site, despite allowing robots access to all these pages through rank math settings. Kindly guide me on how to resolve these.

    *I am using WPML Multi-lingual.

    1. Submitted URL marked β€˜noindex’ (Affecting 95 pages)
    2. Server error (5xx) (affecting 35 pages)
    3. Submitted URL has crawl issue (affecting 25 pages)
    4. Redirect error (affecting 2 pages)
    5. Duplicate, submitted URL not selected as canonical (affecting 240 pages. It is counting WPML translated languages as duplicate)
    6. Excluded by β€˜noindex’ tag (affecting 181 pages. Falsely showing ‘no-index’ error)
    7. Page with redirect (don’t understand the issue)
    8. Crawled – currently not indexed – 83 pages(not sure why its not indexing)

These issues are happening despite including all post-types in sitemap under Rank Math settings. Haven’t restricted bot access anywhere manually.

Kindly help with it. Can provide whatever more info you may need to understand the situation.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I think we would need to login to check all the issues. Could you also add an example of each of those issues in the Sensitive Data section so we can check them and try to find a solution?

Also, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thank you for details.

I checked your site and in WPML languages settings I noted you have enabled the Browser Language redirect option. This has been known to cause issues with site indexing and is usually not a recommended option to enable, you can read more about it here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/how-browser-language-redirect-affects-google-indexing/

Please disable the option then resubmit your main sitemap on Google and let us know how this goes.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Dear Michael,

Thanks for looking into the issue. As advised, I have disabled Browser Language Redirect in WPML and have resubmitted the sitemap.

I will update you when the sitemap is indexed again.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello,

    Thanks for the follow up.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

    Sure Michael,

    Will update you.

    Hi Abdul,

    That sounds great.

    Dear Team,

As advised above by Michael, I disabled Browser Language Redirect in WPML and resubmitted the sitemap on 5th. On 7th Google read the sitemap. But it is not reading the affected pages.

I have given search console access to your email id (s******@r***********). Kindly take a good look to find what could be the issue.

The issue is affecting over 700 pages now. Kindly help resolve this asap!

    Hi,

The last crawled URL on the noindex issues is 1st July which was more than 1 month ago.

Checking your actual pages, I do not see any noindex tags which means the issue is no longer there but Google just hasn’t crawled those pages and hasn’t updated the stats in your GSC:

If there are pages with issues with crawl date in the last few days, please let us know. Otherwise, I do not see any issue as you have noted yourself and this is just an issue of not seeing the current data in GSC.

    Hope that helps.

    Dear Uzair,

Thank you for your response. I note your point.
With your experience, what can you suggest me to do to make Google read the pages again? Should I resubmit each affected URLs/delete and resubmit the whole sitemap/wait and give more time? any other method?

    Kindly advise.

    Hello,

Usually, a good way to force Google Search Console to read the sitemap again is by removing it from the Search Console and adding it again. After that, you will have to wait a few days (and more if the sitemap is big) so Google can crawl it again.

    Looking forward to help you.

    Dear Alberto,

    Thanks for your response.
At the moment, I am trying by submitting for index certain number of urls from each affected. Lets see if Google takes cue and indexes all. If this doesn’t work out, I will do as you advised. Thanks a lot!

    Hello,

Either way would work. Let us know what works for you.

If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
