    Rank Math free

    Hi,

I recently installed rank math again. The reason I removed it a few months ago was that it constantly froze one of my posts when I tried to edit it. This still seems to be the case, I really like the plugin so I am opening a ticket to see if you can fix this. Thanks, let me know what the next steps are.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Sorry for the issue you are facing.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it could be Rank Math having a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Please let us know if you find the culprit.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi,

I’m experiencing the same issue where the WordPress editor freezes when I enter a focus keyword.

What I’ve noticed is it has only started after setting a focus keyword for three of my post after which any other post that I try to add a focus keyword to freezes the editor and crashes the page.

I’ve used the troubleshooting guide and still had the same problem when I only had the default WordPress theme and Rank Math activated. So according to the troubleshooting guide my WordPress setup is the root cause of the issue, but what exactly does this mean?

I also deleted the plugin clear my cache and reinstalled it but the problem still exists.

    Hi,

Yes, that’s exactly the same for me, probably should’ve mentioned it’s only when there is a keyword in. I did everything they said, didn’t help. Seems to be the plugin. I gave up and managed to remove the keyword from the post seems to do it for now.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I can’t seem to replicate the issue. I added the first keyword and the post seem editable fine. I added another and the post is still fine. Please check the screencast I have added in the sensitive section. Is there any specific keyword that I should test? Could you please record a screencast of the issue from your end so we can be able to replicate this. You can use https://www.loom.com to record and then share the URL in the sensitive section so we can check.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I was able to replicate this with the long keyword. I tried to enable troubleshooting mode but it doesn’t seem to work on your site. Could you please create a staging site and share the access with us so we can dig further into this.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

No, I can’t. It’s too technical for me and it’s not my fault that this is happening in the first place. Also, you could’ve at least disabled the site health plugin after you were done.

I’ll let it pass on this post as it isn’t such a big deal but if it happens again I’ll reopen a ticket. Please notify your team about this issue so that they can fix it in a coming update.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Of course, I have already sent this thread to the devs so they can check it, meanwhile if you have any other questions or issues, we are here to help you.

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hello,

I am sorry but neither the loom and nor your login link is working. It looks like you deleted the loom video and disabled the temp. login URL.

Could you please add those again so we can take a closer look?

Moreover, I noticed that your sitemaps are not working.

Can you please follow these steps?

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/xXXhDt

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server.

That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

Hi, I see it already notified you that sensitive data has been updated.
I think I have removed the sitemap from my caching plugin, but I’m not entirely sure. I didn’t even know it was broken.

Can you please check that the sitemap is now working correctly? I use WP3 Total Cache. Thanks.

    Hello,

The sitemap is still being cached:

I have added the sitemap URLs to the cache exclusion and they are no longer being cached.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Alright, Thanks a ton Uziar!

Let me know when I can remove the login links and loom videos.

    Thank you again,
    Benjamin.
