clear log does not delete expired link in wordpress

    Hello
    I have many expired content link of old free theme content(now I am using mythemeshop premium theme) in my wordpress which I can see in Logs in 404 monitor, there is one option to clear logs but I am getting same logs after deleting also.

    How to remove old expired links completely, I do not wanted to redirect theme. provided sensitive data for test on my site

    To fix the old theme content errors, please head over to the refferer pages and delete the links to the outdated content. This will be the most ideal method to clear recurring error logs.

    Hi! I have already read this article. but how can I delete the links to outdated content? from my wordpress as well as from google search. after deleting from 404 monitor it show up again and again. I don’t wanted to keep any outdated content.

    Hello,

    The best way to resolve the 404s is by redirecting them to the most related page on your website. If you don’t have one, you can create an HTML sitemap index and direct all 404s to that page.

    This is something you will need to handle on your end.

    Please note that we can only help you reporting the 404s, fixing them is not our domain and you will have to use your best judgment when depicting what to do with the 404s.

    You can exclude certain paths from getting reported from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > 404 Monitor.
