Removing /category and /tags from permalinks

I’m sorry for the inconvenience you’re facing. Yes, you can remove the “/category” and “/tag” from your permalinks using the “Strip Category Base” option in Rank Math’s General Settings. This option will work for subcategories as well, allowing you to have cleaner and shorter URLs.

For your single posts, the tags should not be included. You may visit your WordPress settings > Permalinks and use the post name only.

Unfortunately, Rank Math can only remove the category base for category URLs.

In case you are referring to tag URLs, you may need to use a permalink manager plugin to modify your tag’s permalinks that can specifically address it.
