Log Limit: Verify the log limit setting. The log limit controls the maximum number of rows that the monitor will generate. If you have a large website with thousands of products or have just changed domain names, you might need to adjust the log limit accordingly.

Database Overload: If you have enabled the Advanced Mode, please be aware that your site’s database can quickly overload if you have many 404 errors. We recommend enabling the Advanced option only when investigating the source of a 404 error.

Referer and User-Agent: If you have enabled the Advanced 404 Monitor, check if the Referer and User-Agent fields are being captured in the logs. These fields contain important visitor data and can help identify the source of your 404 errors.

We have troubleshot this issue and we can see that the 404 monitor module is working properly when your other plugins are deactivated. Here’s a screenshot of the 404 log when your other plugins were deactivated.

In this case, we’d advise you to troubleshoot your plugins to see which is conflicting with Rank Math.

The issue is coming from the GT3 Themes Core plugin. If you disable it, our plugin is able to detect 404 errors. Please get in touch with their support, as they should be able to fix it on their end.
