Search console not working

    Hi,

I get the following error message: The data sets are empty in your cache. You can wait for the next cronjob (17/07/2020 00:00:00) or Update Manually. Note: Please update your data by clicking on ‘Update Manually’. Google only stores data from the last 90 days – a dataset older than that can’t be updated anymore.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin and updating manually but the issue is still not resolved.

    Please fix asap.

    Thanks,

    Shak

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Do you have the correct domain selected in the drop-down?

Could you please ensure cron jobs are running well on your site. You can install WP Crontrol to manage and monitor the cron jobs.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi,

Unfortunately i’m still having issues. WP cronjobs are enabled host side (I’ve cheked with them).

The plugin you suggested – I can’t see anything obvious that is wrong, although I dont
really know what i’m looking for.

When I click update manually – it just gets stuck there and nothing happens.

    Further assistance is required.

    Thanks,

    Shak

    Hello,

I think we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Please de-authorize your site then head over to Rank math > General Settings > Webmaster Tools and click on Search Console Verification Page. On the page that appears, copy the meta tag and paste it in the Google verification field then save the settings. Go back to verification page and click on verify. (screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/zwfZRv)

When done with the above verification process, authorize your site again and use the account used while verifying. Let us know if this resolves your issue.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi,

I’ve followed your instructions and successfully verified but unfortunately I still get the same error message: The data sets are empty in your cache. You can wait for the next cronjob (21/07/2020 00:00:00) or Update Manually. Note: Please update your data by clicking on ‘Update Manually’. Google only stores data from the last 90 days – a dataset older than that can’t be updated anymore.

I’ve included another login for you to have a look.

    Thanks

    Hello,

We are sorry but it doesn’t look like it is working correctly on your website.

I would recommend using the official Site Kit plugin by Google for now while we work on a revamped version of the Search Console. You can disable the Search Console module within Rank Math in the meantime at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
