Hello,
Please note that the Webmaster Tools are an optional feature only if you need to verify your site through Rank Math.
If you have already verified via Sitekit or another plugin/method, then you can skip this option in General Settings.
Looking forward to helping you.
I should check out the other webmaster tools. Please help and update the guides.
I have 3 verifications for Search Console. Do I remove them? Which one should I keep since I use the WordPress plugin, Site Kit?
Hello,
What specific part or text of the Webmaster Tools guide is outdated? Sharing more information about this would help improve our content and guilds. Also, you only need one method to verify your Search Console property, if you have used one method/plugin, you do not need another.
We hope this helps clarify the issue. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again. We are always happy to assist you.
Surelly bing, yandex, pinterest. But probably all. If we have already added verify website but no added code on Rank Math, it’s hard to do solo.
Can we have guides relate on as configure correctly webmaster tools? Example: add sitemap, robots.txt, other usefull hint.
Hello,
As we have mentioned earlier, if you have already verified your website using other means, there’s no need to configure the Webmaster tool. The verification code that our plugin generates only shows up in the frontend if those verification settings fields are filled. There’s nothing for us to update in the guide since we have carefully followed the standard verification method set forth by those platforms you have mentioned.
As for your second question, the sitemap and robots.txt aren’t configured via the Webmaster tool as Webmaster tools mainly focus on the integration of the site to the available platforms such as Google, Bing, Pinterest, and so on. Sitemaps and robots.txt don’t need to be integrated into any platform. Bots will have to crawl your site and depending on the availability of the sitemaps or robots.txt, there should not be any issues for crawlers to access them.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
