Remove parent category URL from child category URL

We apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing. To remove the parent category slug from the URL of a child category, you can enable the “Remove parent slugs” option in Rank Math. This will allow you to have shorter URLs for your child categories.

Once you’ve enabled the “Remove parent slugs” option, the parent category slug from the URL will be removed, and your URL will now be shorter and look like this: `https://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/remove-category-base-option.jpg

You can find this option by navigating to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Links. If this option isn’t available, ensure you use the Advanced mode of Rank Math.

Apologies for the confusion.

Rank Math is unable to remove the parent category for your child category slug.

In this case, you may have to use a permalink manager plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/permalink-manager/ to achieve that setup of URLs for your child category URLs.

Unfortunately, that is correct. Rank Math can only remove the parent slug of your product category in WooCommerce:
https://rankmath.com/kb/general-settings/#remove-parent-slugs

Since you mentioned that it is for your normal posts, then you may need to use a separate plugin to achieve that specifically.
