In addition to our reply above, please check if you have any static sitemap XML files in your root directory.
Rank Math’s sitemaps are generated virtually/dynamically, so there shouldn’t be any XML sitemaps in your website files.
Also, for troubleshooting, please follow these steps to flush the sitemap cache:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
