How to remove attachment file URLs generated by Wordpress?

    Hi there,

    I’m running into an issue where my uploaded images are being converted into those single image media attachment pages by WordPress and this interferes with my custom URLs as the image page is taking up the custom URL name.

    In Rank Math, I’ve gone and set attachment pages to “no index” under Titles & Meta but I’m wondering if there’s a way to get rid of the attachment pages entirely? I understand that there’s a redirect option but I need to free up the URL name for other purposes.

    You can head over to Rank math > General settings > Links and redirect your attachments. Let us know if this fixes your issue.
