In the 404 Monitor, you should not block the genuine URLs where the page was mistyped only.
It’s important to know that the referer link can be an internal link or an external link. That means that if you make a mistake in linking internally to your post, Rank Math will capture that for you as well.
Also, the 410 status is for content deleted redirection:
https://rankmath.com/kb/setting-up-redirections/#maintenance-code
Regarding the same URL, could you please share the example so we can check?

Can I safely put all the reported URLs of the 404 monitor as 410 codes? I have many URLs to enter as 410 codes and little time to keep up with the program.
Then, thanks to Ahrefs, it fixes the wrong URLs. I corrected 6 URLs entered by mistake. But I don’t know if Ahrefs checks all the URLs and how to tell their staff to change the type of analysis. I have a hard time explaining the situation to them.

If those URLs are already deleted, then you can safely set them as 410 in the 404 Monitor.
Alternatively, you can add them to the exclusion list at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > 404 Monitor > Exclude Paths.

The 404 Monitor only reports the URLs that don’t exist on your site. So, if you block those URLs, it isn’t going to destroy your site in any way. However, it is up to you, if you find Ahrefs analysis more easy to follow and fix the site issues, you can continue using that and disable the 404 Monitor of our plugin from WP Dashboard > Rank Math SEO > Dashboard.
