Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Can you please confirm if you’re referring to the author’s image and name on your posts? If so, please note that this author box is controlled by your theme, not by the Rank Math plugin. So, if you want to add this author box to the top of your posts and not on your About page, then we suggest you get in touch with your theme support as they will be in a better position to help you with this.
However, if you want to redirect all of your author pages to your About page, then you can add a redirection on Rank Math > Redirections: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-create-a-redirection/
Regarding the author slug, please note that WordPress doesn’t allow changing the author slug by default. But you can achieve this by using a plugin that specifically addresses that:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/edit-author-slug/
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you.
Hi, when I create the redirect, it still goes to my Homepage. Please note that I’m the only author. I can give you a screenshot of my settings but where do I add it to this ticket?
I’m trying to get my Author Box link to go to my About Page. I’ve created the redirect. I’ve created an author-page page and redirected the url to my about page but it continues to go to my home page.
If I click on View in the Redirections page of the settings, it takes me to my Home Page.
Any help you can offer is appreciated.
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
You can use this tool to upload a screenshot and add the link here.
Currently, the author URL is redirecting to your homepage.
If you want to redirect the author to your about page, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings and add it properly.
Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
