Multiple Meta Descriptions for Pages and Posts

    Hello!

    All of my pages and posts have 2 meta descriptions but I am trying to only have there be 1 for each.

    Is there something that I need to change in Rankmath settings to prevent this from happening?

    Example: https://twinwaveswellness.com/somato-respiratory-integration/

    Meta description 1: Wellness Center in San Diego County that practices Network Spinal Analysis (NSA). We provide chiropractic care to Solana Beach, Del Mar, Encinitas, La Jolla, Oceanside, San Diego, Carlsbad, and Rancho Santa Fe, California. Holistic chiropractors in North County San Diego, CA.

    Meta description 2: Somato Respiratory Integration is a set of breathing exercises. SRI integrates with Network Spinal Chiropractic. The 12 Stages of Healing are here!

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with duplicate meta descriptions on your website.

    We have checked the page and can see that Rank Math is generating the meta description below:

    Somato Respiratory Integration is a set of breathing exercises. SRI integrates with Network Spinal Chiropractic. The 12 Stages of Healing are here!

    The second meta description is likely coming from the Google Tag Manager. Please contact the plugin developer to see if they can help you to resolve this issue.

    However, you can use the following filter to remove the meta description generated by Rank Math:

	return "";
});

    Sorry for the delay. Was just out of the office for 2 weeks!

    Thanks for the response. I want to keep the RankMath meta description, so I won’t delete that one.

    For the duplicated meta description that is also being populated, when you say I should contact the “plugin developer”, who is that? And where can I find their information to contact them?

    I looked in Google Tag Manager for this website, I am new to Google Tag Manager, but to my knowledge I didn’t see anything regarding this I don’t think. What specifically should I be looking for in there? Thanks!

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

    Apologies for the confusion about the Google Tag Manager, but the meta description is added by one of your plugins or active theme.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), to determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
