You will have to add the ratings on the supported schema types:
– Book
– Course
– Event
– Product
– Recipe
– Software Application
If none of them are suitable for you, you can try to add the review snippet using some other plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/yet-another-stars-rating/
Just keep in mind, even forcing the use of stars using that plugin, you won’t have stars in the Google Search results using the Article or Blog Posting schema, since Google doesn’t want.
