Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Sorry for the issue you are facing.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it could be a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Please let us know if you find the culprit.
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Also, meanwhile you do those tests, could you share (in the Sensitive Data section) your website URL so we can check it by ourselves?
Looking forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I have checked it but in my case, it seems to be displaying (in Google Search Results) exactly the description you have set in the page (as seen in the source code). I have attached some screenshots in the Sensitive Data section.
Is it what it should be displayed?
Looking forward to help you.
Hi,
you only check the home page I attach a search term and Screen shoot of that, so you can check the problem.
In that search term, I already have but listed of that homepage is ranking.
What your thoughts?

Hello,
Well, as you saw in my previous screenshots and you can also check by looking at the homepage source code or https://metatags.io/, the meta description of the homepage in the source code is fine.
What seems to be changing is the description Google chooses to show for your homepage depending on the search intent.
Do note that if Google decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better (like it could seem in this case).
The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.
You can read more about it here

This section sheds light on that:
Why the search result title might differ from the page's <title> tag
Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
I understand your explanation.
But why Google taking posts description and showing in Homepage? is there any reason you know? or I added the latest 10 posts on the homepage, and they are taking description from there?
can you please tell me more about meta tags? is that meta description?
Regards,
Mainak

I have checked the link you have shared and it appears fine from my end, please check the screenshot I have shared in the sensitive section.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi,
I saw the screenshot, it’s a different post which has a different search term. Also already have post in the website.
But some times homepage showing, instead of that post URL.
this is not happening with me the first time. it’s also happened in past.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Regards,
Mainak
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.
The first step we always adviece is to check ypur page source code if the meta is set correctly or use test on https://www.heymeta.com.
If it appears correctly, then there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes may choose to ignore your custom meta. Please read more about it here
