I’ve followed everything on YouTube, but it doesn’t work.

I can’t register my site in Google Search Console.

No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘X-Robots-Tag’ http header

    The above situation is repeated.

I’ve registered my sitemap page just fine, and I’ve tried a bunch of things on YouTube, but nothing works.
If I deactive rankmath in my wordpress, it passes url test and indexes. But when I re-active rankmath, it says no indexing again in the google search console.

I want to fix the problem.
I am attaching a screenshot of the problem.

    thank you.
    Best regards.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

That is normal because you’re inspecting your sitemap URL in your Google Search Console. You’ll get the error if you inspect your sitemaps because, by default, sitemaps are set to noindex as they are meant to be crawled and not to be displayed on search results pages.

You should only submit your sitemap to the sitemap section of your GSC account and shouldn’t use the URL inspection tool for the sitemap URLs.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I’ve already tried it in GSC and Rank Math Plugin in wordpress, following the link you sent.

But it doesn’t solve the problem, please see the image file I attached…

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The noindex on the sitemap URL is completely fine as we mentioned already. That doesn’t prevent the sitemap from being crawled, it just prevents it from being indexed.

You want the pages inside the sitemap indexed but not the actual sitemap XML file and you can check any big website with a sitemap to see that they all have the same directive, including our own:
    https://rankmath.com/sitemap_index.xml

Regarding the zero-discovered URLs in the sitemap, that means that Google discovered the URLs on your website via other methods such as internal linking.

As long as the website is getting indexed, there’s nothing to worry about as explained here: https://rankmath.com/kb/zero-discovered-urls-through-sitemap/

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
