    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

We have a really good guide about implementing the FAQ Schema here: https://rankmath.com/blog/faq-schema/ If you can, check it and if you still have questions or issues after that, just let us know and we will be happy to help you.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thanks for your advice. I have been reviewing the document but cannot understand how to make this work in conjunction with Elementor. All of my content is there and the Gutenberg Block Editor for each page which has content on it in elementor is blank? Thanks again

I have seen this: https://i.rankmath.com/Z8zaVO but it doesn’t help me when I am wanting to add it to the bottom of my page here: duncanstevens.com because this is all created in elementor so the Gutenberg is empty? Thanks again

    Hello,

Probably you found a post in this forum with a message like the following one, where it explains how to add a FAQ Block with Elementor, but I will paste it so if you didn’t see it, it might help you:

Adding a FAQ block to an Elementor page is not as straightforward as it could be (due to the limitations of not allowing the use of Gutenberg blocks inside Elementor), but, there’s a workaround.

Here’s a screencast showing the process:
    https://i.rankmath.com/DefBHH

When someone switches to the Block/Gutenberg Editor, adds an FAQ Block, and goes back to the Elementor – the FAQ block is going to be removed but only from the frontend. The code remains intact in the source code. One can add the HTML of the questions and answers again.

With that being said, there are existing feature requests, so I’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, I’ll be sure to let you know.

I hope that helps. If there’s anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

Thank you for that and for sharing the video. That’s really helpful. I have one glaring concern though and that is whilst it shows up and is implemented correctly – it’s doesn’t actually appear visible on the page. On the example video and when I did the same – it does not appear. However on the example site I gave – it appears visible on the site and as the mark up too? Thanks again

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow up.

Please share with us a screencast of your issue so we can help further.(You can use http://www.loom.com)

Hiya Michael, thanks for your message – its the same issue as in the Rank Math video demo video posted by your colleage Alberto. You will see that the FAQ is added. It is visible on the Gutenberg, and shows up in the Google check but doesn’t actually appear on the front end.

    Hello Duncan,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

The FAQ added is will not be visible via Elementor but if you update and preview your page, it should be there. If it still not appearing, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.</p>

    Hello,

I have asked the devs and it seems the FAQ won’t be displayed in the front-end unless it is added in the Gutenberg block editor (I mean your entire post is done in the block editor) but since it is not the case, the only way to display the FAQ in the front-end is adding by yourself the content of the FAQ in Elementor. Even if you don’t it, the FAQ Schema will be still added in the Schema data.

I am sorry since it is not the best way and we are working on improving it but that is the best solution for now.

Hope it helps you and we will be here for any other issues or questions.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
