    Hi,

Schema Markup exists in the page source, but it’s not picked or identified by the Google search console.

    Example of one page:
    https://www.oraask.com/wiki/python-pandas-date

I want to solve this problem to be able to let the schema markup appear in Google SERP, and also I want to upgrade my subscription to pro, but this issue prevents me.

    wait for your reply.
    Regards

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Upon checking the page’s source code, Rank Math’s unable to show the schema code to that page. The schema should be added like this

    script type="application/ld+json" class="rank-math-schema"

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), this could be caused by conflicting plugin/theme on your site.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi

Thanks for your guidance, actually I have observed that the schema tag you mentioned above, “class=”rank-math-schema”>” appears only when I am logging in with a user on my website, like admin or any other user not as a visitor, so the troubleshooting steps you mentioned will not identify the problem because i am already logging with my admin user. Hope you got what I mean by that. Do you have any insights or ideas on what I can do in this case?

    Regards

    Hello,

If the schema code is only visible when logged in to your WordPress dashboard is most likely due to a caching issue.

For troubleshooting, you may clear your website and server’s cache. Then, check again the page’s source code.

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.

Thanks, Reinelle; now the schema has appeared after clearing the website cash. But the last question related to Google search: Do I need to do anything else to let Google identify the schema that appeared recently?

Also, there is a feature to add to the premium schema, which is image schema; if we want to add schema to license an image on our pages, this is important and not available in the schemas that Rank Math represents.

Thank you for your valuable support.
    Regards,
    Hassan

    Hello,

No, you don’t have to do anything except wait for Google to crawl your updated website. The schema markup should be discovered after Google crawls your page.

As for the image schema, we only add imageobject to specific schema type that is pre-made in our plugin. If you wish to add a custom one, it is possible with our PRO plugin by utilizing the advanced schema builder.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.

Thank you for your valuable support.
