WordPress Post Tag Sitemap 404 Error

Hi,

I’m using Rank Math SEO on my website. I created main sitemap.xml without any issue. But on the taxonomies section when i enable include the post tags to sitemap, its shows the 404 error on the given url “/post_tag-sitemap.xml/”. I tried everything but couldn’t find any solution. Please help about that situation.

For initial troubleshooting, can you please follow these steps?
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Hello,

Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Tags, and from there make sure the Tag Archives Robots Meta are set to index.

Once done, please clear your sitemap cache again by following this video screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp
